about

This is a very rough live version of a song I doubt we'll ever perfect; a sincere, all-too-earnest expression of gratitude to John Donohue, the music editor of my fave rag, the New Yorker, who had the great wisdom to give us a bit of ink on one of our trips out that way in the fall -garsh, I was jes' tickled! If only Bono had written something like this for Jann Wenner, maybe somebody else would be saving the rain forest...

recorded live on Dec. 2nd, 2006, at Mo's Pitkin's House of Satisfaction, our new fave club in NYC (and, needless to say, well within walking distance of Katz's Deli) by their excellent sound man, Jasper (whose first name is definitely not Justin.)
