For today's Song(s) of the Weak, we're featuring a couple of Philharmonette numbers in particularly rough, early versions (which I know I'll regret having put out already later, when we start getting better ones):
"What's Buggin' You" -Chandler Travis & The Guys Who Play With Chandler Travis Sometimes, recorded at the Coast in Orleans, May 2, '07 -an even rougher version of a song I was sure would be perfect for one of my stupid bands, that worked out for neither of them (I had trouble conveying some of the rhythms to the Philharmonette via chord charts, and the Casuals -oh my god, don't get me started...) Ah, but life is long, and I am a hound and a half. Some nice bass work from Laird Boles, who was debuting with us that night, and pianer from (Mahavishnu John Casual aka the Flaw aka) Keith Spring -MIA lately, dammit (-YOU talk to him!)
